Clay was my first real job; I started working as an assistant in a potter’s studio when I was 16, mixing glaze, recycling clay, loading and unloading kilns, helping with decoration and glazing…. then I took a wheel throwing class in college and totally fell in love. Late night throwing sessions in the studio were my favorite. Our first assignment was to make six teabowls; I made twelve and never looked back.

All my pottery is made by hand in San Francisco; each piece is unique, and designed to be comfortably used for your home and table.

My homewares are made to coordinate like a family; they are kin, not clones.

My online shop is currently a work in progress; you can purchase my pieces in-person at Ruby’s Clay Studio and Gallery, contact me to ask about current inventory, or sign up for my email list (see bottom of page) for notifications about upcoming events. Domestic shipping available.
