Hi, I’m Anna Payden, an artist, gardener, and postpartum doula serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

I’m passionate about family, community, creativity, and tasty meals!

In 2020 I left my long-time position managing a small garden company to focus on my family’s needs during the pandemic. Kindergarten on Zoom…didn’t see that coming! Once I was ready to contemplate a return to work, I knew I wanted something new and self-driven. After taking a postpartum doula training course, I started Grounded Heart Studio; it’s allowing me to build my career around what I love, and flexible time for my family.

I live with my husband and our ten-year-old, plus a dog and an ever-expanding plant collection.
